Racing Together

In a race, there is only one winner. But in the Kingdom of God, everyone is a winner. If someone stumbles during the race, we should do what we can to help them to the finish line.

Galatians 6:1-3, instructs us to help our brothers and sisters when they fall. This shouldn't be done in a holier than thou manner, because we all at some point have and will make a mistake. This should be done out of love, with words of support and encouragement.

Providing continued support, advice, and encouragement is what all believers should do to one another, Colossians 3:16. When you know that you have people fighting in your corner, who want to see you succeed and experience the best that God has, it gives you more strength to overcome the difficulties you may face in life.

Let it be, not just our desire, but also our mission to hold up our brothers and sisters and not pull them down when they are in need.

We are running this race together.

How has having the support of fellow believers helped you through a difficulty time in your life?
